ExEm Foam Team visits Mayo Clinic Rochester

The ExEm® Foam Team was excited to visit the Mayo Clinic Rochester to officially bring the Foam Procedure to the US.

The new technology in tubal patency testing in women with know or suspected infertility, offers fertility clinics an alternative to the 50+ year old X-ray HSG technology. The innovative imaging technique offers a less complicated and less invasive alternative to laparoscopy and dye, the gold standard for diagnosing tubal patency. The outpatient tubal assessment is also associated with significantly lower pain scores as compared to the standard of care, X-ray hysterosalpingography (HSG), and does not require the use of radiation and iodine.

This means that physicians can now expect a clear imaging quality using their own ultrasound machine and that patients can have a more gentle procedure by their trusted fertility expert.
